Meet the Staff
FSN has a staff of two part-time workers.
Paul was hired as the FSN Administrative Assistant in July 2008. He has experience in the field of computer science, experience in planning special events, preparing reports, updating databases, designing websites, publishing newsletters, and correspondence.
While working for Kay-Bee Toys at the Town Center Mall as an assistant manager, Paul was involved in a motorcycle accident that left him a paraplegic. After his accident, he started a Desktop Publishing business. He and his wife Debbie have been married for 35 years. They have two children, Danielle and Richard and three grandchildren. Paul is a graduate of Herbert Hoover High School and attended WV State College.
He enjoys fishing and camping.
Sharon Stackpole graduated from West Virginia State University and is now a graduate student at Marshall University where she is pursuing an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
She is a former reporter and copy editor for the Wheeling Intelligencer and News-Register who has won awards from the Associated Press for her enterprise, investigative and industry reporting. She has also done freelance writing for Wonderful West Virginia magazine and both written and illustrated several books for the Sketchbook Project in Brooklyn, NY. Her artwork is shown publicly in downtown Charleston, WV in the Gallery 64 murals and the Streetworks signs along Washington Street. She has volunteered teaching art at the elementary school level and participated in the Read Aloud program in Kanawha County.
Because she has a pacemaker, she has also volunteered for heart health advocacy for the American Heart Association for over a decade both in Charleston WV and Washington, D.C. as a You’re the Cure heart health advocate.
